Which class should you pick?
The clear score ranks crowd damage. A first run also needs a class that can take a hit and a kit that is hard to get wrong, and those questions have different answers, so the three picks below are different classes.
Highest ceiling
Warlock S tier · starts on Shadow Bolt
Warlock holds the top clear score at 254.2, which is S tier. The trade sits in the other columns: survivability 120, the Low band, and difficulty 15, the Hard band.
Strong and forgiving
Warrior S tier · starts on Cleave
Warrior is the highest-ranked class outside the Low survivability and Hard difficulty bands: clear score 213.2, S tier, survivability 160 (High), difficulty 14 (Medium), with Charge on F every 8 seconds.
Most forgiving first run
Paladin B tier · starts on Hammer of Wrath
Paladin carries the highest survivability in the table at 200, against a class range of 120 to 200, and sits in the Easy difficulty band at 11 points. Its clear score is 118.3, rank 6 of 9, which is the trade: a first clear leans on the survivability line, not on the clear score.

Survivability and difficulty are estimated from the data tables. The survivability score starts at base health and adds each Shield, Heal, and Immune row, while the difficulty score counts a starter outside the best 6, the share of that total the strongest skill does not cover, and the dead rows in a kit. Both rules in full.
How the tier list is built
One number per class, the same rules for every class, so a rank can be checked instead of trusted.
- 6-skill clear score
- A class scores on its 6 highest-damage skills, the run cap in the tables, at level 1 with no passives. Their damage per second is summed, including damage over time and the extra targets an area spell reaches.
- Crowd model
- Area spells are scored against one enemy per 16 square yards, capped at 8 bodies. Cones use the 74 degree arc the tables keep, and ground effects count a tick every second after the first 0.4 seconds.
- Crit
- Direct hits carry the 5 percent base crit at 2 times damage. Damage over time does not take it.
- Tiers are rank bands
- The two highest scores are S, the next three A, the next two B, and the last two C. Control effects and the F skill add a small amount outside that damage total.
- Not a playtest
- Every figure on this page is a model over the tables. Movement, pack behaviour, boss patterns, talents, and boss gear are not in it, and no run was recorded for this page.
Where the numbers come from
That repository is a from-source build of the game on the benilla engine. Its survivors mode carries its own tables in data.rs, mobility.rs, and mod.rs, and a row's spell id only names it for the icon and the name: the damage, cooldown, range, radius, and F-skill numbers are that build's own.

crates/benilla-app/src/survivors/{data,hud,mobility,mod}.rs) - License: MIT OR Apache-2.0. Copyright (c) 2026 Sam.
- Tables read on 2026-10-17, and this page was built from that revision.
The game itself runs at wow.aethus.pl in the browser, and the site behind that address is a separate implementation. nine classes, 6-skill runs, and a level 5 F skill are shared; an individual number can still differ, so read the ranks as this table's answer and not as a promise about every build.

Questions
Which Azeroth Survivors class should I pick?
For a first run the tables point at Paladin: the highest survivability in the table at 200, and the Easy difficulty band. Warrior is the strongest class that keeps a survivability edge, at a clear score of 213.2. Warlock tops the clear score at 254.2 but carries the Low survivability band and the hardest kit.
Is the Azeroth Survivors tier list playtested?
No. Every rank is computed from the open-source survivors tables, and no run was recorded for this page. That is a feature as much as a limit: the same rules score every class, and the method is published, so a rank can be reproduced rather than believed.
Where do the numbers come from?
The survivors tables of the from-source build at github.com/OutThisLife/azeroth-survivors-re, read on 2026-10-17, under MIT OR Apache-2.0. The original browser game at wow.aethus.pl is a separate implementation of the same idea, so a number in that build can differ from the tables ranked here.
How often do the numbers change?
This page is built from one pinned revision of the tables, read on 2026-10-17. A new extraction replaces the numbers on every page at once, and the date at the top of the page changes with it.
What is an F skill?
Each class learns one mobility spell at level 5 and casts it with the F key. The class pages list the distance or speed bonus, the duration, and the cooldown for every class.
How do I share a custom tier list?
Open the tier maker, then press a class and give it a tier on the bar that appears, or drag the card by its handle. You can rename a row, recolor it, or add another. Share opens the share sheet with the board, Copy link copies the board address, and Download image saves the board as a picture you can post.
How does community voting work?
A visitor can submit one class ranking per browser fingerprint per UTC day, and the server also caps votes per IP hash that day. The top row counts as S, the second as A, the third as B, and any later row as C. The community page averages those points and sets the average against the tier list's clear score.
Is this site official?
No. It is an unofficial fan site, and it is not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment or the developer of Azeroth Survivors. It uses no Blizzard art.
