Google Analytics

On azerothsurvivorstierlist.com the site loads Google Analytics 4. The measurement id is a fixed value in the site code. gtag.js is configured with send_page_view set to false. The page then sends a page_view with page_location, page_path, and page_title on the first load and again after each client-side route change. It also sends a share event when someone copies a board link, posts a board to X or Reddit, opens the phone share sheet, or downloads the board image, naming which of those five it was; and a move event when a card is placed on a board, naming whether it was placed by pressing or by dragging and whether a class or a skill moved. Neither event carries any other field. Other hostnames, including workers.dev, localhost, and preview hosts, do not load gtag.js. Google receives those fields under its own terms.

Microsoft Clarity

On azerothsurvivorstierlist.com the site also loads Microsoft Clarity, a behavior analytics product. The project id is a fixed value in the site code, and the tag is the one Microsoft publishes. The tag sends the page URL, title, and referrer, the browser and language, device details, interaction events such as clicks and scrolls, and the page markup needed to rebuild the page. Microsoft masks input boxes, numbers, and email addresses before upload. Clarity keeps up to 100,000 recordings per project per day and samples the rest. The site sends Clarity no consent signal, and Microsoft has required one from visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland since October 31, 2025. Other hostnames, including workers.dev, localhost, and preview hosts, do not load the tag. Microsoft receives the recorded data under its own terms.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

The production site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare injects that beacon at the edge. It is not part of this repository, and the site code does not ship a Cloudflare beacon script. Cloudflare describes the product as cookie-free. The edge beacon records the requested page, the referrer, and general device and country information for that hostname. This site does not read that payload and does not set a Cloudflare analytics token in its own pages.

Votes

A community vote stores three things in Cloudflare D1. A browser fingerprint, a salted hash of the IP address, and the submitted class ranking for that UTC day. The IP address itself is not stored. The hash is SHA-256 of a server-side salt plus the address. One fingerprint can submit one ranking per UTC day. There is no account.

Cookies

The vote fingerprint is kept in the as_fp cookie and in local storage under the same name. The cookie is used so the same browser is recognized on the next vote. It is not an advertising cookie. Google Analytics may set its own cookies when the production page loads gtag.js. Microsoft Clarity sets the first-party cookies _clck and _clsk, and the third-party Microsoft cookies MUID, ANONCHK, MR, SM, and CLID, when the production page loads its tag. Microsoft documents MUID as used for advertising, site analytics, and other operational purposes. Clarity does not set cookies when the browser blocks them. Cloudflare Web Analytics is the edge product described above and is built not to use a cookie.

Advertising

The site shows no ads of its own and runs no ad network. The Clarity tag sets Microsoft cookies that Microsoft documents as advertising-related, and the Cookies section above names them. If Google AdSense or another ad network is added later, this page will name the network and its cookies before those scripts are served.
