Azeroth Survivors tier list maker

The board starts with the site's ranking. Move whatever you disagree with, then keep the link, download the picture, or send the board to the community vote. Nothing here changes the homepage ranking until you submit it.

Your board

Press a card, then press its tier below. Or drag a card by its handle.

There is no account, and the board stays in this tab until you share it. The keyboard works too. Press Enter on a handle to pick a card up, move it with the arrow keys, and press Enter again to place it. Esc puts it back.

Bench

0 classes and 73 skills are on the bench. A class left here is not counted in a vote.

Community vote

Submit the class rows above. One vote per browser per UTC day, and up to 12 votes a day from the same connection.

Where the starting board comes from

The board starts from the site's ranking

The two highest scores are S, the next three A, the next two B, and the last two C. The order comes from the same clear score the homepage ranks with, so nothing here is hand-placed and a class you leave alone stays where the site put it.

One number decides the order

The clear score is damage per second from a class's best 6 skills at level 1, with no passives and no levels spent. The arithmetic is published, and no run was recorded to produce it.

The numbers come from one fan build

They come from the survivors tables in a fan rebuild of the game, github.com/OutThisLife/azeroth-survivors-re, read on 2026-10-17 under MIT OR Apache-2.0. The browser game at wow.aethus.pl is built separately, so a number there can differ from the number ranked here.

How the tier list is built · Compare all nine classes

Before you move a class

The ranking makes assumptions about a run. These are the ones worth checking when your board and the site disagree.

It counts a crowd
The score gives area damage one enemy per 16 square yards, capped at 8 enemies at once, and a cone hits the 74 degree arc. A class built on area skills is worth less than the ranking says in a thin pull and more in a thick one, so decide which pull you are ranking.
It scores level 1 skills
Every skill is scored at level 1. Levels, passives, and the level 5 F skill are not in the number, so a class that takes a while to get strong can sit below one that is strong from the first card.
Survivability and difficulty are separate
Survivability adds base health to each Shield, Heal, and Immune skill on its own scale. Difficulty counts the skill you start with, how much of the best 6 skills' damage a single skill covers, and the skills that deal nothing. A class can lead the ranking and still be the hardest one to keep alive.
A tier is a rank, not a score range
The nine classes are split into tiers by rank, so two classes a few points apart can land in different tiers. Paladin and Shaman are the closest pair at 2.2 points and they share a tier, while Hunter in A and Paladin in B are the closest pair across a line at 4.5 points.

Questions about making a board

Do I have to move a class at all?

No. The board opens with the site's ranking, and submitting it unchanged is a vote like any other. Moving a class is how you disagree with that ranking.

How do I move a class or a skill?

Press the card, then press the tier it belongs in on the bar at the bottom of the screen. With a card in hand you can also press the row itself. Dragging works too, by the grip handle, with a mouse, a finger, or a keyboard.

Can I rename a row, recolor it, or add one?

Yes. Each row has a name field and a color swatch next to the tier letter, and Add row adds another row up to eight. In a vote the top row counts as S, the second as A, the third as B, and any row after that as C.

Why can I not submit my ranking yet?

A vote needs every class in a row. Move the classes still on the bench into any row, the last one is fine.

Does my board change the ranking on the homepage?

No. The homepage order comes from the clear scores and stays that way. A board counts only after you submit it, as one board in the community average.

Where is my board saved?

In the link you copy, and nowhere else. The address bar carries a board only when a link brought you one, so an edit is kept in this tab, a reload included, and lost when the tab closes unless you share it. There is no account and no copy of the board on the server. Share sends the link or the picture to the apps on your device, and Download image writes the picture to the device.

Can I rank skills, or only classes?

You can place both, and both appear in the link and in the image you download. Only the class rows count in the vote.

Why does the site disagree with my board?

Because the ranking comes from one damage formula over one fan build's tables. It counts a crowd of up to 8, scores level 1 skills, and measures damage rather than survival, so a board built around how a run actually goes can differ from it on purpose. Each class page has the reasons behind that class's rank.
